TOURING CALIFORNIA ONE PLAYGROUND AT A TIME
Yesterday was the last Clarence Day of our 5 solar day road trip so we are now home and back to realness again.
Our morning started in our pa (Navy Occupy Monterey) with Marisol trying to help us backpack our suitcases and Flynn trying to get daddy out of bed.
The kids had a chance to take up some fun in the little playground at the Navy Club while we were loading up the railcar and trying to fix the luggage container happening top of the Jeep which conveniently decided to not interlace.
NAVY Charge PLAYGROUND
The first stop on our 7 10 hour drive was Dennis the Menace playground in Monterey. This resort area is HUGE and so often play for kids of all ages. We thought we should let the kids burn down off a ton of energy so they would sleep for the first some hours of the drive … and it worked.
DENNIS THE MENACE PLAYGROUND
2nd stop on our road trip home was Frazier Car park. We grabbed some lunch and took the kids to, yes you guessed it, another playground. If you look closely at the photo of the playground with the mountains behind it, you may notice the spots of snow at the top. It certainly wasn't cold where we were though. Most of our drive home the temperature was between 90 and 96 degrees.
FRAZIER PARK PLAYGROUND
Unluckily we didn't meter our drive plate precise fit and ended upfield in Los Angeles right midmost of race time of day dealings. It couldn't deliver been worse so after look the map on our GPS Betty we drove around to find more playgrounds to think about the kids so they didn't fall behind their minds seated in dealings. The first 2 playgrounds were already locked up for the evening but we constitute another little playground just south of Los Angeles.
Lakeshore SCHOOL PARK
4 playgrounds in one day. Whew, I'm tired.
I also yearned-for to share a few pics of the things that we drove past on our means home. As you know we drove on the slide to get to Monterey so the scenery coming home inland was very different. The very first photograph I had to put option in because Jay affectionately named the mountain Hindquarters Crack Piles :).

Playgrounds are my dearie things these days as advantageously. I have saved myself driving different routes to look for new Parks for the kids. Flynn is a daredevil. He is so much a expert climber.

I know of another mother who did this literal selfsame thing and straightaway I'm convinced there mustiness embody some wizard map or website that gives you the location of all the playgrounds — surgery was IT pure brilliantness connected your part? Please share you secret :-)K

Kj: No brilliance on my percentage. It's just a bit thing named Betty our GPS. We look for little green patches on the map and drive roughly to the closest ones until we find a park that's outdoors and not full of drug dealers. This was quite hard in LA because we drove past one Mungo Park well-lined of gangs (police smooth thither impressive someone) and 2 parks were latched for the evening. The one we sooner or later settled connected was opposite a civilize and there were a couple of families there playing Ball with their kids so IT seemed nice enough.
